Quality Manager

I am looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop the quality function within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can build, improve and implement quality systems, rather than simply maintain an existing programme.

• Lead and oversee the site's Quality Management function, ensuring consistent standards across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve quality systems, processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, food safety requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Identify quality issues and drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Operations and Maintenance to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of findings.
• Develop quality metrics and use data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Build a strong quality culture, providing coaching and accountability across the manufacturing team.
• Take ownership of existing challenges and proactively implement long-term, sustainable solutions.

• 5+ years' experience leading Quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Ideally, previous experience within Food & Beverage / Food Manufacturing.
• PCQI and HACCP certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with SQF or BRC auditing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Proven ability to build, implement and improve quality systems rather than simply maintain them.
• Hands-on, self-sufficient leader who is comfortable identifying challenges and driving meaningful change.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to hold teams accountable.
