Our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
This position plays a key role in ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. The Quality Engineer will partner closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve quality issues, and support a culture of operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, inspection plans, and manufacturing quality standards.
- Perform inspections and audits of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate, document, and resolve product and process nonconformances while partnering with production teams on corrective actions.
- Analyze quality metrics, defect data, scrap, and customer complaints to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Lead root cause investigations using quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to eliminate recurring quality issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, testing procedures, and quality management system documentation.
- Provide guidance and training to production personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards and support Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in new product development by providing quality input during design reviews, prototyping, and production launches.
- Assist with customer audits, internal audits, and supplier quality activities while addressing quality-related concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering or Quality Control experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Experience with quality tools and methodologies including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both in an office environment and on the manufacturing floor while wearing required PPE.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- Must be able to commute to Claremore, Oklahoma.
