Quality Control Technician

Location:

Tulsa, OK

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Overtime

Schedule:

When overtime is required, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Job Type: Full-Time Temporary with the possibility to go perm

Must-Have Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to learn quality testing procedures and manufacturing software
  • Ability to follow safety, quality, and production procedures
Position Summary

The Quality Control Technician will support quality and production processes throughout the manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for verifying product quality, conducting inspections and testing, identifying defects, documenting quality metrics, and communicating quality concerns to the operations team. The Quality Control Technician will work closely with production and quality leadership to maintain safety, quality, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S standards while helping identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Verify product quality and compliance with engineering specifications and work instructions
  • Perform incoming product inspections
  • Conduct end-of-line product inspections and quality testing
  • Identify and communicate defects to production and operations team members
  • Collect and report quality metrics using Microsoft Forms
  • Complete layered audit requirements and sign-offs for critical-to-quality projects
  • Properly use QC stamps and quality approvals
  • Participate in weekly Quality Team meetings
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Support team training related to quality processes and procedures
  • Work with the Quality Control Lead regarding product and production information
  • Report production bottlenecks and quality concerns to the Quality Control Lead
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and maintain 5S and safety standards
  • Help identify and eliminate waste within the department
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures
