Pay Range: Targeted annual salary ranges from $38,700 to $50,300, based on experience.

Position Introduction:
OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center is Oklahoma's only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Cancer Center, and one of only 74 NCI-Designated Cancer Centers in the United States. The Stephenson Cancer Center's Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the OU Tulsa Schusterman Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Senior Staff Research Assistant to support multiple ongoing research studies focused on real time health behavior change. This position plays a key role in advancing innovative, technology driven research aimed at reducing smoking, alcohol use, and marijuana use through NIH funded and pilot randomized controlled trials.
The Senior Staff Research Assistant will work closely with the Senior Program Manager to coordinate and delegate research activities, oversee participant payment processes, and support the development of smartphone based applications used in study protocols. Additional responsibilities include data collection, record management, data analysis, and preparation of research reports. Studies utilize smartphones, tablets, GPS, and mobile carbon monoxide monitors to collect real world data and deliver automated interventions.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, or related field.
- 24 months research laboratory experience.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
None.
Department Preferences:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or other Healthcare field.
- Knowledge and experience with clinical trial data collection.
