** Chef Manager**, you will lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritional meals that enhance resident wellbeing and support positive dining experiences. You’ll oversee menu innovation, compliance, budget management, food safety, and team leadership, all while creating an environment where residents feel cared for and valued.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement seasonal, nutritious, consumer focussed menus aligned with dietary, cultural, and clinical needs
* Ensure full compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, food safety legislation, and organisational policies
* Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team to maintain high performance and a positive workplace culture
* Oversee all kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control, and budget management
* Collaborate with clinical and lifestyle teams to deliver resident‑centred dining experiences
* Drive innovation in food presentation, flavours, textures, and service models
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
* Follow directives from individual care plans to support person‑centred care### About You
* Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (required) and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Proven experience in volume cooking, ideally in hotels, healthcare, or similar environments
* Strong understanding of all facets of food services, including chill production and dining service planning
* Excellent knowledge and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
* High level of customer service, strong communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships across teams
* Ability to follow directives as per care plans
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) is required for this role.
