• A.Current Food Handler’s Permit
• B.High School Diploma or Equivalent
• C.Minimum of one to two years of manager/supervisor experience in a food service setting
• D.Customer service and problem- solving skills
• E.Must be able to speak, read, and write English
• F.Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
• G.Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• H.Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• I.Strong self-motivation and initiative
• J.Familiar with high standards of appearance, hygiene, and cleanliness

This position reports to the Director of Food Service.

• A.Operation knowledge in a food service setting
• B.Prior POS system experience preferred
• C.Good customer service and problem-solving skills
• D.Experience schedule writing
• E.Manage staff of 10-15 employees per day
• F.Maintain high standard of sanitation and safety in work areas
• G.Oversee maintenance of equipment to ensure proper working order and safety
• H.Preparation of food for residents, guests and staff in an attractive and palatable fashion
• I.Proper labeling, dating and storage of leftover food items
• J.Oversee proper storage of goods and proper rotation of stock in kitchen
• K.Set up and direction of special functions and events (catering, marketing, activities)
• L.Set up and direction for daily meals
• M.Any additional task assigned by the Director of Food Services
