Position: (USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary:

Sam's Club team member responsible for sales and service support, ensuring compliance with safety and product knowledge while fostering a collaborative and customer‑focused environment.

What you'll do:

Be a Team Member – Collaborate with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.

Be an Expert – Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, seasonality, and Point of Sale systems with effective phone and in‑person selling techniques.

Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using hand‑held technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training.

Be an Owner – Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead; track and monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers, process transactions; work hands‑on in the physical area while maintaining accurate inventory, audit safety, and compliance standards; report TBC complaints, safety hazards, and issues; complete paperwork logs and other required documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies;

assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.

Be a Talent Ambassador – Act as a brand advocate, valuing the members’ experience in the TBC area, model high‑quality service and products, and inspire others with respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented work style.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy.

Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
