Pay range: $12.00 to $15.00 per hour
. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.03 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with customer inquiries and problem resolution.

The associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; collaborates to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training and other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency; cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on the gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
