The General Manager is the architect of the store culture, customer experience, and business performance. This leader owns the total store experience – balancing luxury service, operational excellence, talent development, and strategic business leadership. WhatYou’ll Do Drive Business & Operational Excellence
- Own total store performance including sales, profitability, operations, and customer experience.
- Analyze trends, identify opportunities, and activate strategies that improve performance.
- Protect profitability through payroll, inventory, compliance, and operational discipline.
- Ensure consistent execution of visual standards, launches, and promotional priorities.
- Create a culture centered around luxury service, relationship-building, and customer confidence.
- Ensure every touchpoint reflects Jared’s elevated brand standards.
- Set expectations for appointment culture, clienteling, follow‑up, and personalized selling experiences.
- Inspire high‑performance behaviors through floor presence and visible leadership.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing talent.
- Create a coaching culture rooted in accountability, recognition, and growth.
- Develop future leaders through intentional feedback and development planning.
- Foster an inclusive, People First environment where diverse perspectives are valued.
- Help customers celebrate life’s most meaningful moments through exceptional experiences.
- Feel confident through expert guidance and relationship‑based service.
- Build emotional connections through storytelling, personalization, and trust.
- 3+ years retail sales experience, or 2+ years sales experience with 1+ year of management experience required.
- Specialty retail and/or jewelry experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a team to results through coaching, accountability, and execution.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, resolve conflict, and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to operating with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality where required.
Flexible to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical schedules target five days/40 hours, with additional time during peak seasons.
