Position: MEMBER SPECIALIST

Position Summary

As a Member Frontline Services Associate, you will support our members throughout their shopping journey and help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide member service and maintain the checkout area
  • Resolve member issues and concerns while promoting Sam’s Club products and services
  • Offer guidance on self‑service technology and process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies
  • Follow safety standards and conduct safety sweeps; report unsafe situations to facility management
  • Manage entrance and exit areas: verify membership cards, assist members with purchasing decisions, review receipts, secure assets, and document required information
  • Zone shops, arrange and organize merchandise, and assist members with transporting items to maintain a safe shopping environment
  • Assist in training new Member Frontline Services associates and provide continuous learning and process‑improvement opportunities
  • Identify and report shrink or damages and maintain accurate paperwork and logs

Compensation

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register
  • Experience working with mobile retail applications
