Responsibilities:
• Perform daily assigned inventory audits, across the warehouse and retail floor.
• Investigate and research inventory variances and discrepancies, and report findings to
the leadership team.
• Maintain the integrity of the Inventory Locations System by ensuring proper labeling and
organization of all physical storage spaces (bin locations) and conducting searches to
locate misclassified inventory.
• Assist in determining root causes for inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective
actions and process improvements to eliminate repetitive errors.
• Work with warehouse, freight, merchandisers, and Specialty Shop Manager purchasing,
and operations teams to optimize the flow of product to maintain inventory integrity.
• Assist with routine preparation and completion of inventory processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of all inventory audit results and inventory
metrics.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in
one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
• Ability to perform basic math
• Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem
• solving skill
• Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere,
and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and
procedures
• Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team atmosphere
• Ability to work assigned scheduled which may include varied hours, evening, weekends,
and holidays
• Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed
Compensation: Compensation for this position starts at $19 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of both.

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
