Position Summary
We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time Sales Associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The role includes customer service, sales, and loan processing across retail and lending operations. Associates will work with a variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
Responsibilities- Greet customers and develop rapport to recommend suitable financial solutions.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures and maintain store appearance.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items securely.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buyback transactions to customers.
- Collaborate with coworkers and managers to deliver a positive customer experience.
- Complete assigned training and other duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing).
- Minimum age 18; high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Strong desire to work in a team, serve customers, and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office equipment.
- Can work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
- Hourly wage of $14.00 to $15.00 per hour plus commission.
- Earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $1.00 per hour on top of base rate.

- Paid vacation: one week after 6 months, additional week after 1 year, and 2 weeks after each subsequent anniversary (subject to state/local requirements).
- Sick/personal time: 8 hours after 6 months, 16 hours annually thereafter (subject to state/local requirements).

The candidate’s total compensation will be based on hourly wage plus commission, which can range from 2% to 8% depending on gross profit performance.
