Position Summary

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of cementing services that align with customer needs and company goals. This role plays a key part in driving revenue, representing American Cementing in the marketplace, and serving as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.

The Senior Account Manager must be proactive, results‑driven, and skilled at navigating both technical and commercial conversations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain direct client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities to grow cementing services sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to support strategic growth objectives.
  • Support market analysis initiatives and contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, engineering, and other departments to align service delivery with client expectations and company goals.
  • Act as a key liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure alignment of service quality and technical solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational goals.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oilfield services industry; direct cementing experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Proven experience with CRM platforms and data modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated success in client‑facing roles, including business development, sales, or technical service delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience delivering technical presentations and leading customer discussions.
  • Established relationships with current industry clients a strong plus.
  • Self‑motivated, capable of working independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Critical Tasks / Performance Goals
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account expansion.
  • Maintain and grow key customer accounts through regular engagement and proactive support.
  • Develop and implement account strategies tailored to key and target clients.
  • Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations to maximize profitability.
  • Resolve client concerns related to service quality and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct regular KPI and performance review meetings with key clients on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Promote and upsell technologies aligned with client needs and operational value.
  • Identify and communicate market trends, customer challenges, and competitive threats.
  • Represent American Cementing at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Author technical papers and case studies that demonstrate the value of American Cementing’s solutions and innovations.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Primarily office‑based role with frequent travel to customer sites and field locations.
  • Field visits may include exposure to diesel fumes, airborne particles, loud noise, and potential safety hazards; proper PPE will be provided and required.
  • Must be available to clients during evenings and weekends when on call, unless on approved time off.
  • Must maintain reliable access to email and phone communication at all times.
