New Opportunity with LDF Sales & Distributing, Inc. LDF Sales & Distributing, Inc. is adding a Dynamic & Energetic Salesperson to the On-Premise Sales Team. This role involves outside sales to licensed accounts, product promotion, and account development in Kansas and Oklahoma.
We are a fast-growing company that markets, sells, and distributes a wide range of beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. On Premise Advance Sales Representative – Responsibilities- Sell company products to licensed accounts and perform activities incidental to sales (e.g., rotating stock, some product delivery, and collections).
- Maintain customer satisfaction and care for company equipment; communicate market trends and competitive information.
- Work under general supervision as an outside salesperson; coordinate with account managers on planning and execution.
- Achieve monthly sales objectives designated by the On-Premise (ONP) Manager.
- Assist with development of the LDF portfolio in ONP accounts.
- Collaborate with On-Premise ASM/Manager and team on account planning, goal setting, and execution.
- Maintain knowledge of the full LDF portfolio and sales tools (Beermate BWB, iDig, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Conduct professional sales calls, including product features/benefits, market analysis, programming, and needs/asks.
- Set advance appointments and lead crew drives, focus days, sales meetings, and programming initiatives.
- Sell and work with suppliers aligned with LDF goals.
- Manage travel and entertainment budgets per company policy.
- Deliver product orders ahead of regular delivery, collect payments, and safeguard deposits.
- Secure promotional price discounts and events to maximize volume; merchandize accounts with current POS materials.
- Develop and maintain good customer relations; respond promptly to merchandising requests.
- Persuade customers to accept higher inventory levels and additional LDF products.
- Submit expense reports according to policy.
- Inform customers of all company products and new offerings.
- Adhere to check-in/check-out procedures and policies.
- Report market trends and competitive activity to management and recommend responses when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with supplier and LDF quality standards; communicate issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Safeguard all company products, inventory, vehicles, and equipment from theft, abuse, or loss.
- Follow product handling, delivery, and storage procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all sales practices comply with state and federal regulations regarding alcoholic beverages.
- Operate company vehicle according to Fleet Safety Manual and report any accidents promptly.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment and vehicles as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the On Premise Manager.
- Completion of company sales training; computer skills with Microsoft Office and iPad software; understanding of basic office functions and product knowledge.
- Knowledge of state alcohol laws and sales techniques; professional grooming and hygiene for customer relations.
- Education/
Experience:
College degree or equivalent; supplier training and professional sales experience preferred; prior route sales experience. - Language Ability:
Excellent sales skills; strong interpersonal abilities to communicate, develop rapport, influence, and persuade. - Math Ability:
Basic math, profitability calculations, and trade math. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to make quick independent decisions. - Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ABLE permit (OK) or equivalent depending on state requirements for alcohol sales. - Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
- Driving Company vehicle; work on customer premises; schedule may include nights and some weekends; flexible depending on promotions.
- Medium work; frequent use of hands, vision requirements, and possibility of lifting 26–50 lbs and occasionally 160 lbs; exposure to weather and temperature changes when entering/exiting coolers.
- Must be at least 21 years of age; valid driving record; pass drug screen and background check.
