Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Sales Project Coordinators is to support the assigned outside trade sales team.
*** THIS IS A BASE PLUS COMMISSION ROLE***
Schedule and AvailabilityWeekdays during normal business hours from 8am to 5pm
Additional hours outside of business hours as necessary to ensure a successful sales cycle
Some event attendance as required by management
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the assigned outside trade sales consultants, i.e., order processing, take-offs, build proposals, Salesforce , customer meetings, etc.
Achieve sales goals by providing well-rounded solutions and market expertise
Build long lasting relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and trade organizations using a consultative sales approach
Partner with customers to recommend and provide proposals on the appropriate products and solutions that help grow their business
Utilize Pella’s quoting and Salesforce software to prepare proposals and manage customer relationships
Performs other duties as necessary or assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills , and AbilitiesKnowledge of construction industry
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts at once
Ability to manage complex sales cycles from initial meeting to completed project
Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree from four-year College or University; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two to four year s of sales experience strongly preferred
Mathematical and Reasoning SkillsAbility to put together accurate quotes and orders
Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions
Ability to read a tape measure accurately and understand fractions
Computer SkillsMust be proficient with Microsoft suite
Must be familiar with smart devices
Ability to learn and utilize proprietary Pella software programs and applications and other business critical applications
Communication SkillsAbility to provide clear communication with customers via emails, telephone calls, and/or text messages in a timely manner
Ability to verbally present information and respond to questions from customers and managers , and the public
Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, type or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, or crouch
Work is primarily conducted in an office setting
The noise level for this position is usually moderate
