We are hiring a Small-Medium Government Account Executive to grow our business. This remote-first position requires a customer-centric sales professional with experience in local government and prospecting across large regions. It’s an individual contributor role with high autonomy, activity, and attention to detail.
While we are remote-first, in-office work is an option if you are near one of our hubs.
What You Will Do- Drive sales and expand market presence in your territory.
- Collaborate with marketing to generate and nurture leads.
- Create compelling value propositions for clients.
- Partner with others to maximize sales opportunities.
- Lead pursuit teams for large opportunities.
- Guide prospects through the buying process.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet targets.
- Understand customer needs across operational, business, and technical areas.
- Deliver tailored presentations showcasing Granicus’ solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver pitches and proposals.
- Manage all sales activities from prospecting to closing.
- Maintain detailed records in Salesforce CRM.
- Present quarterly sales reviews to management.
- Travel approximately 30% for client engagement.
- Proven prospecting and closing skills.
- Experience with CRM systems.
