Outside Sales Representative – Tulsa, OK
In this entry‑level outside sales position you will build customer relationships, drive sales growth, and develop the foundational skills necessary for long‑term success in outside sales. The Tier 1 Sales Representative will receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and hands‑on experience while promoting VEGA’s innovative sensor solutions within an assigned territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support the execution of strategic sales plans to help drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in your territory.
- Learn and promote VEGA’s complete line of industrial sensor products and solutions.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outreach and research.
- Develop strong customer relationships by applying VEGA’s IMPACT sales process and becoming a reliable point of contact.
- Attend sales visits, product demos, and meetings with experienced sales staff to gain hands‑on experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using VEGA’s CRM system (Top Vis).
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and assist with basic issue resolution to ensure customers receive an outstanding VEGA experience.
- Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams to provide well‑rounded solutions to customer challenges.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to better serve customer needs. Participate in team huddles and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
- Drive 16 quality sales visits each week based on phone and in‑person prospecting.
- High School Diploma.
- One (1) to two (2) years of related experience or equivalent.
- Sales training program.
- Laptop, iPad, and iPhone.
- Eligible for our auto program.
Must reside within the market.
Spanish language fluency preferred.
