Job summary:

This position is to assist management of the activity of the used truck sales department. By performing the duties of this position, the employee will help the truck sales people to be more productive and increase departmental revenue. This position will also assist the Used Truck Sales Manager and the VP of Sales with the duties of that position.

Essential position functions and principal accountabilities include: working with the UTC to provide values to the salesmen & general managers for trades, daily managing and supporting sales efforts of used truck team, working closely with corporate used truck manager and marketing department to develop sales and marketing strategies, helping develop used truck department sales personnel with CRM, appraisals and proper used truck write-up skills, evaluating used truck department performance, helping manage inventory, working with corporate used truck manager and general managers to analyze turns and gross profit, locating, analyzing and recommending equipment to purchase for all Bruckner locations, visiting all locations bi-annually to cover CRM/equipment needs and build relationship with salesmen, helping general managers administer used truck recon for all locations, securing values for wholesale equipment not appropriate for retail within the Bruckner group, working with corporate used truck manager and marketing department on CRM appraisals and inventory systems, and actively seeking and engaging in any and all used truck industry organizations to build and strengthen relationships within our industry.

Position requirements include: a minimum high school diploma with appropriate experience, a minimum 2 years retail sales experience, preferably some heavy duty or medium duty truck experience, management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, commitment to company core values, good oral and written communication skills, adequate skill to prepare sales quotes, sales assistance, and analyze truck market data, and general ability to operate a computer.
