Business Development, Sales Representative, B2B Sales
ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services who will work within a defined geographic territory focused on clients and prospects with 1‑49 employees. The role requires identifying, signing and growing new and existing accounts, cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads, assessing needs and presenting ADP solutions, often in the field. Training and technology will be provided.
What You’ll Do- Grow Our Business While Growing Yours. Work independently and collaboratively with various teams to close sales, win business and reach sales goals.
- Turn Prospects into Loyal Clients and Raving Fans. Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
- Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family. Sell cloud‑based HR solutions and strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts, building long‑term relationships.
- Collaborate Daily. Serve as a trusted advisor, partner and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners and the broader network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Positive Self‑Starter. Upbeat, persistent; capable of cold calling, managing time, and presenting ideas clearly in person, on paper and over the phone.
- Agile Solution Seeker. Problem‑solver able to find answers or solutions even in fast‑paced change.
- Continuous Learner. Always learning, growing, and questioning past practices to improve results.
- Technology & Digital Acumen. Comfortable using modern digital tools and platforms, including AI; quick adopters of new technology, data‑driven decision makers who innovate for greater productivity.
A college degree is great but not required; other acceptable experience includes one to two years in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales or similar, or military experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior quota‑carrying experience.
