Business Development Leader for a successful business unit of a $10B aerospace manufacturer. Highly visible commercial leadership role owning sales growth. Family-friendly business, longstanding history. Hybrid work schedule, must reside in greater Tulsa, OK area.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Generate business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Maintain a constant flow of RFQs and RFPs for the sales pipeline
- Support estimating activities with customer follow-up on in-process and submitted quotes and proposals
- Establish a three-year strategic and tactical sales plan and forecast, with year-over-year growth targets
- Develop long-term strategic relationships across the customer organization, from buyers to decision makers
- Develop customer-specific PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials in close collaboration with program and business development personnel
- Build Capture Plans for strategic target programs, part numbers, and customers
- Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and services
- Lead the sales process across multiple departments, with a focus on core competency programs and parts; provide market and target pricing inputs when available
- Maintain current awareness of industry intelligence, new programs, customer news, new technology, new requirements, and aircraft platform production rates
- Minimum high school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in aerospace manufacturing, with strong sales growth experience
- Familiarity with government and industry regulations and portals a plus, including FARs, DFARs, FAA, SAM, JCP, and similar

SalaryAnnual Salary: $170,000–$180,000 USD. Base salary target $170-180K + $15k bonus + relocation + excellent benefits.
