Local aircraft company is seeking an Account Manager Assistant. The AMA will be responsible for assisting the Account Manager in building and maintaining customer relationships. This person will initially join the team in an assistant role, with the goal of being promoted to Account Manager once fully trained. We are seeking candidates with a strong work history and a professional background.
Job Responsibilities- Responsible for handling day-to-day customer communications, including but not limited to requests and scheduling. This support allows the sales and management team to focus on new business development, customer satisfaction, and marketing strategy.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a quoting schedule, distributing new RFQs to the Estimating team, and serving as a communication conduit between the customer and the Estimating team. This includes relaying technical questions and clarifications.
- Compile data received from the Estimating team into a complete Job Boss quote and send it electronically to the customer.
- Track and update the status of quotes in Job Boss. Follow up with the customer one week prior to the quote's expiration date.
- Process customer purchase orders by reconciling them with quotes, identifying and communicating discrepancies, coordinating production-related needs, and generating the corresponding sales order.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers and the field. Respond to and appropriately route inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with marketing functions such as tradeshow preparation, event planning, and implementation of initiatives aimed at building the Company's brand and internal culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- 2+ years of experience in customer service
- Ability to learn and effectively use MRP/ERP software, preferably Job Boss
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to type at least 50 wpm
Business casual – jeans are allowed. Closed-toed shoes.
