Client Relationship Manager, Account Manager
Overview
We’re looking for an Account Manager to manage a book of business and support routine to moderately complex client accounts. You’ll help keep clients supported, informed, and retained. You’ll also build strong relationships, spot client needs, and help bring the right resources together. This role includes day-to-day account management, retention goals, and support for added services and coverage. You may also support an Account Executive or Broker Producer.
Responsibilities- Manage an assigned group of client accounts.
- Build and grow trusted relationships with clients.
- Work with clients’ key decision–makers and day‑to‑day contacts.
- Help secure renewals and support client retention.
- Identify opportunities for added services and coverage.
- Bring in the right internal resources to support client risk and capital needs.
- Help coordinate admin or customer service support when needed.
- Travel about 25% of the time to meet client needs and strengthen relationships.
You have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of client coordination or claims management experience, or a high school diploma and at least 8 years of client coordination or claims management experience. You hold the required license. You communicate clearly, both in writing and in person. You can quickly spot what matters most in a situation. You stay organized and handle competing priorities well.
