The Homeowner Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Homeowner Services team meet Green Country Habitat for Humanity's (GCHFH) housing goals by coordinating homebuyer education, financial education workshops, and housing counseling for pre-purchase, rental, and credit counseling services. Administrative responsibilities include processing intake information, input of applicant and homebuyer tracking data, report generation and mortgage servicing.
Essential Functions- Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the industry.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information as required by agency and/or state and federal regulations.
- Assist in community outreach and marketing for homebuyer education, and budget and credit workshops.
- Conduct group intakes and collect required documentation, authorizations, and disclosures.
- Register clients seeking to purchase a home or other home related services.
- Create case or client files containing personal and financial information to determine the status of a homeowner.
- Update Home Keeper client file with all changes throughout the relationship.
- Assist with home dedications, groundbreaking, and other events in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
- Enter all monthly payments and money orders into Keystone system.
- Enter and disburse payments for principal and escrow in Keystone, codes, and forward to accounting for processing.
- Maintain homeowner insurance invoices and enter into Keystone.
- Receive and process calls from homeowners inquiring about their monthly payments.
- Create, print, and mail monthly statements, and late notifications to homeowners, and make collection calls.
- Process monthly report for credit report.
- Assist with processing mortgage applications.
- Acquire HUD certification within 90 days.
- Assist Homeowner Services with other tasks as required.

Position Requirements Experience / Education- Spanish and English required.
- Mortgage and client service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HUD policies, procedures, state, and federal regulations preferred.
- Proficient in the operation of intermediate-level office equipment and software programs, including but not limited to Client Management Systems (CMS), Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge to assemble, analyze, and report data and information in a clear, precise, and objective manner.
- High degree of organizational and time/people management ability.
- Must be understanding, non-judgmental, solutions oriented and a problem solver.
- Ability to build positive and strong relationships with potential home buyers, key lenders, and customers.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and communication skills, and ability to work effectively on a team.
- Ensures policies and procedures are followed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to meet deadlines and program outcomes.
- Knowledge of evaluation and outcome measurement.
- Ability to change course where appropriate.
- Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently, work with minimal supervision and demonstrate responsible behavior and attention to details.
- Excellent time management, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills.
- Work and communicate with internal and external customers to meet their needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner, committed to quality service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Respond appropriately to supervision, follow policies, and cooperate with staff members.
