• 2+ years in the right-of-way, land, and/or real estate profession
• College degree not required but preferred
• IRWA membership and certifications a plus
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings, design plans, and other technical information
• Understand and interpret appraisal reports
• Understand and interpret title standards and legal descriptions
• Prepare conveying instruments and other legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
• Effectively communicate and lead negotiations with landowners and other interest holders to secure agreements
• Prepare final paperwork for all completed files accurately and with professionalism to meet expected deadlines
• Train and mentor other agents
• Professionally communicate and interact with clients, the public, landowners, and all other stakeholders
• Experience with in transportation and the Uniform Relocation Act (URA)
