About the role    Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a Casual Security Officer -( Control Room Operator) to join our business and work for a very well-known Global client in our Macquarie Park, NSW location.
The Control Room Operator must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security License are encouraged to apply.
Locations:
Macquarie Park, NSW.
We have casual positions with rotational shifts (Days & Nights).
Key Tasks    - Provide a security service in line with site SOPs and customer requirements by effectively operating and monitoring control room systems to protect the customer’s employees, property, and other assets.
- Deliver the highest levels of customer service while consistently demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.  - Deliver a consistently accurate, discreet, and security-focused monitoring and coordination service to support all visitors, guests, and employees at the designated site(s).  - Ensure the safety and protection of the customer’s people, property, and information at all times through vigilant system monitoring, incident reporting, and timely escalation, maintaining an unobtrusive and comfortable environment.  

- Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Securitas, promoting a positive image of our customer at all times.  - Respond to and manage queries from the public, customers/visitors, and employees via control room communication channels.

Minimum Requirements    - Must have a valid Security License.  - Ability to uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.  - Excellent communication skills, including clear radio and phone communication.  - Ability to work independently, remain self-aware, and motivated, as well as work effectively as part of a team.  - Punctual, reliable, and proactive, with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.  

- Previous experience in a security control room, monitoring environment, or with security awareness training.  - Experience in managing and coordinating responses via CCTV, alarm, and access control systems is highly regarded.
