Security Officer

Overview

This is an active, team-based security role focused on maintaining the safety and security of a data center environment. Rather than monitoring from a fixed post, you’ll engage directly with staff, contractors, and visitors to prevent risks and respond to emergencies.

• Conduct regular patrols to safeguard company personnel, assets, and property.
• Act as a first responder to emergencies and potential threats.
• Provide support and direction to employees and visitors while upholding safety protocols.
• Follow standard procedures to reduce risks and ensure a secure working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a security role or completion of a formal security training/certification (e.g., Guard Card).
• Alternatively, 4+ years of related professional experience.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure.

• Roadblocks don’t intimidate you. You understand how to successfully evaluate problems and develop appropriate solutions.
• You can be counted on in crucial times, possessing great focus while completing projects successfully and efficiently.
