Security Officer

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear and accurate activity and incident reports;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions;
Monitor access points and help to enforce location rules, credential checks, and restricted area protocols in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations;
Support emergency preparedness efforts by communicating with site contacts, public-facing personnel, and/or first responders during alarms, medical events, or other security-related concerns
