. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as utilities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $16.94 per hour

Job Schedule: Saturday 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM;
Sunday 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor information, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and security concerns according to site protocols.
• Support routine operations during changing weather, shift activity, and outdoor conditions while maintaining awareness of utility infrastructure, restricted areas, and other sensitive locations.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
