As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and armed guard card/license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.

+ Monitor access points and help maintain authorized entry procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.

+ Prepare accurate reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrol activities, unusual conditions, and other security-related matters.

* + An armed guard card or license is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
