Armed Security Officer

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

• Thursday 10 pm to2 am
• Saturday 6 am to 6 pm
• Sunday 6 am to 6 pm

Citadel Security USA is hiring a responsible and alert Armed Security Officer to provide scheduled security coverage at an assigned facility. This role involves routine patrols, surveillance monitoring, access control, incident response, and protection of designated property and assets.

The ideal candidate will be confident handling security responsibilities, comfortable carrying a firearm while on duty, and capable of remaining composed when situations require immediate attention or sound judgment.

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas by foot or company-provided vehicle as directed.
• Look for signs of unauthorized access, intrusion, damage, hazards, or other unusual conditions.
• Monitor available CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and other security equipment.
• Control entry and exit procedures by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when applicable, and maintaining required logs.
• Respond to disturbances, emergencies, suspicious activity, and other incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Take appropriate action during security incidents while remaining within applicable laws, company policies, and assignment requirements.
• Apply use-of-force procedures only when legally permitted and consistent with company policy and required training.
• Contact and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when circumstances warrant outside assistance.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports covering incidents, daily activities, unusual observations, and other required information.
• Enforce applicable property rules, post orders, company procedures, and security requirements consistently and professionally.
• Maintain awareness of designated high-value property, equipment, restricted areas, and other assets requiring protection.

• Active CLEET Armed Security Guard license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Personal firearm required and must meet all applicable legal and company requirements for armed duty.
• Demonstrated firearm proficiency and safe-handling knowledge.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and company onboarding.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent attention to assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to remain professional and composed during stressful or rapidly changing situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to follow post orders, operational procedures, and lawful instructions.

• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Sound judgment and practical decision-making.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of security procedures and emergency response practices.
• Familiarity with application-based operational platforms such as Track Tik.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Strong understanding of firearm safety and responsible handling.

• Remain calm and focused when responding to disturbances, emergencies, or suspicious activity.
• Assess situations carefully and follow established response procedures.
• Request law enforcement or emergency assistance when required.
• Document incidents accurately, including relevant observations and actions taken.
• Follow all applicable laws, company policies, training requirements, and post orders when responding to incidents or using force.
