Service Master by RSI is looking for a Residential Construction Technician for various aspects of residential construction projects. This candidate will be a crucial member of the team by performing the work of our residential construction projects. This is a daily "get dirty" job, but has the potential to grow into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in finishing sheet rock, installing insulation, carpet, framing, painting, flooring, cabinets, and trim.

Must have advanced experience working with hand tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Work on all aspects of residential construction projects.
  • Manage the installation of batt insulation, hanging of sheetrock (both 1/2 and 5/8), and proficiently finish and spray texture as needed.
  • Conduct painting tasks for both interior and exterior surfaces, including cabinets, ensuring high-quality finishes.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to team members/helpers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in residential construction, with a strong proficiency in installing batt insulation, hanging and finishing sheetrock, spraying texture, and painting (interior, exterior, and cabinets).
  • Ability to work in dusty, dirty, and foul odor environments.
  • Ability to work within a team promoting teamwork and productivity.
  • Thorough understanding of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, for clear collaboration with team members and subcontractors.
  • Capability to interpret blueprints and follow project specifications accurately.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
