Field Installation Technician - 100% Weekday Travel (OK & KS)
We're hiring a Field Installation Technician to support a large‑scale technology upgrade project across Oklahoma and Kansas. This is a fully travel‑based role requiring Monday‑Friday travel to field sites, working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Install routers behind VSAT systems in remote field locations
- Rack, stack, and power DC gear
- Splice and install Cat5/Cat6/fiber cabling
- Deploy and support network/field equipment (Cisco/Aruba, VSAT, Ubiquiti radios, UPS)
- Support basic Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and Office apps
- Utilize SCCM/Intune, Citrix, AD, and Group Policy (basic level)
- Communicate effectively with field teams and coordinate onsite work
- Field installation experience (routers, VSAT, racking/stacking)
- Strong coordination and communication
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working outdoors daily
- Cabling and basic troubleshooting skills (nice to have)
- Ability to travel 100% throughout OK & KS
- Comfortable with heavy field labor
- Safety gear required: FR boots, safety glasses
- High‑visibility project with extensive hands‑on experience
- Work independently in the field, installing and upgrading critical infrastructure

Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
