Diesel​/Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic Tulsa, OK

We are currently looking to fill several Diesel Mechanic positions with a Tulsa Company. Great Company Benefits! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic.

Starting Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Mid and Overnight Shifts - Regular Overtime Including up to 12 Hour Shifts and Saturdays Required. This is a full time, temp to hire position with a Tulsa sanitation company. Permanent employees can expect FREE medical insurance after waiting period.

• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on diesel vehicles.
• Protect yourself, your co-workers, and your company by maintaining a safe work environment. Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Performs basic diagnostics to identify source of trouble and makes necessary adjustments to equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Works with other technicians in performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Check fluid levels, change oil, repair tires.

• At least 3 years of experience working on diesel trucks.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, stoop, or bend throughout shift.
• Able to work in non-climate controlled environments when necessary.
• Must have own tools and valid OK Driver’s License.
• Excellent safety record.
• CDL is a plus.
