Job Overview
This entry level position is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of fire alarm system installation. The trainee will assist with routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems under direct supervision. This role will also support the diagnosis and evaluation of systems requiring servicing and troubleshoot issues arising during inspections. The trainee may install and test fire alarm systems under the guidance of a Fire Alarm Technician, and will receive day‑to‑day direction from the Technician.

- Experience in construction or similar field with demonstrated electrical skills or related training is a plus.

- Ability to read labels, signage, and directions along with basic math computation skills.

- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Valid driver’s license and driver’s record that meets company requirements.
- Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes, a plus.
- Successful completion of a drug test and pre‑employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
