Job Summary
The Expert Field Service Technician will initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role handles advanced and multi‑complex systems, proactively troubleshoots systems, works with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, performs preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues on both company and customer‑owned equipment. The technician will interface directly with customers and may work in multiple systems, locations, or customers.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Work experience preferred
- Able to pass background check and pre‑employment drug screen
- Water treatment experience highly preferred
- Plumbing/HVAC experience a plus
- 3 to 7 years of technical work experience
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion depending on business unit
- Ability to work without direct supervision while providing coaching/training to junior‑level technicians
- Technical soundness
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices
- Customer service experience
- Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly
- Derive insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems in novel and unexpected ways
