About the Role Picture your day starting early, tools at the ready. You size up a crane fault before coffee, schedule preventive checks on forklifts before lunch, and button up a semi’s brake and suspension job by day’s end. If hands-on problem solving across complex diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems sounds like your kind of work, this role was made for you.

Schedule Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Overtime May Be Required Pay $22 – $26 per hour (DOE)
What You’ll Work On Diagnose and repair issues on heavy equipment, semi-trucks, over-the-road cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and other industrial vehicles

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across the fleet

Remove, disassemble, repair, and reinstall engines, transmissions, differentials, pumps, and hydraulic components

Repair or replace bearings, valves, gears, starters, and brake components

Troubleshoot electrical and ignition systems using meters and diagnostic tools

Complete brake work, suspension service, and front-end alignments

Utilize diagnostic scanners and specialty tooling to pinpoint faults

Keep your bay organized and uphold a clean, safe workspace

Follow all safety procedures and required PPE practices

What You Bring Solid mechanical background with heavy equipment, semis, cranes, or industrial vehicles

Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

Experience with diagnostic equipment and software

Comfort reading repair manuals and technical documentation

Detail-oriented problem solver who owns the outcome

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Preferred Certifications & Experience

OSHA-10

Brake Certification Forklift Certification

AC Certification Crane or heavy equipment repair experience strongly preferred

Core Proficiencies Heavy equipment repair and maintenance

Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics

Diesel and heavy equipment systems

Hydraulic systems and components

Scanner-based equipment diagnostics and fault isolation

Cranes and lifting equipment systems

Aerial and utility equipment systems

End-to-end equipment maintenance and repair execution
