Overview
This person will be doing support work, running cable (copper/fiber), and installing pathways; all work will be indoors and outdoors in a data center environment. Main job duties include roughing in the fiber, final dressing, labeling, running, dressing, testing & terminating Cat 5, 6, and fiber, and building out network equipment, rack and stack server cabinets.
Responsibilities- Installation of structured cabling systems, including OSP, ISP, Rack/Stack, Patch, Fusion Splicing, and Testing
- Reads and interprets floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets
- Set up various copper and fiber testers properly
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required
- Terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot optical fiber and copper installations
- Assist in developing installers to complete all tasks of a Technician
- Proactively oversee and lead job site organization and basic housekeeping maintenance
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Maintain satisfactory compliance with customer security requirements
- Excel in technical tasks such as testing and troubleshooting
1+ years of experience in IT cabling and fiber installation.
Data Center experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Cat 5, Cat 6 cable dressing, termination testing, patch panels, cabling, fiber splicing, splicing, and hardware.

Pay & BenefitsPay range $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
