Overview
Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking forward‑thinking HVAC Technicians to support our fast‑growing HVAC business in North America. The role involves delivering high‑quality service on residential and ducted products, air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers, AHUs, and rooftop ducted units.
Responsibilities- Provide the highest level of service to customers, resolving facility inefficiencies and service‑related items.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering solutions and outcomes during commissioning and aftermarket service.
- Provide recommendations and upsell opportunities to ensure facilities run efficiently.
- Produce accurate quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
- Participate in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket services for a fast‑growing business.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, corrective actions, and customer communications.
- Travel 10%–20% to support branch customers for startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL‑CIO.
- Hold a Universal EPA refrigerants license, Oklahoma Journeyman License, and a valid driver's license.
- Minimum 3–7years of practical experience on air‑cooled and/or water‑cooled chillers.
- Experience repairing centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and system components.
- Pass a knowledge examination assessing proficiencies.
- Strong interpersonal, digital, and written communication skills.
- Self‑starter with a passion for learning and applying new knowledge on the job.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to serve as a dedicated member of a North America Branch team.
- Hourly pay of $36.65, determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
