• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain accurate corporate and personal records of work history.
• Support the department by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Assist with picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startup of new installations.
• Operate company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school (plus).
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, including display cases and walk‑in boxes.
• Good driving record and ability to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability (basic requirement).
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and to sit/stand for several hours at a time.
