Job Title:
Generator Apprentice Technician
Positions Available: 1
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Full-Time, approximately 10 hours overtime per week
Travel:
Required – includes out-of-state travel
Per Diem: $160.00/day while traveling
Transportation:
Provided for job-related travel
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Generator Apprentice Technician to support our experienced technicians with generator installations, repairs, and maintenance. This is a hands–on role offering valuable training and on–the–job experience with long‑term potential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with preparing work areas for generator service and installation
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials as needed
- Follow instructions and safety protocols under direct supervision
- Learn to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on generators
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Travel with the team to out-of-state job sites as needed
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and carry materials safely
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Dependable and punctual with good communication skills
