Position: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Description

Salary Range: $16.76 to $17.77/hour.

Join THA as a Maintenance Technician to help create a better Tulsa by transforming live and communities. This role involves maintaining and repairing THA‑owned facilities and equipment that do not require a license from the City of Tulsa or the State of Oklahoma. The work environment is fast‑paced and includes routine maintenance of structures and facilities, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance, heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on structures and facilities.
  • Use power tools such as sanders, saws, and drills for semi‑skilled tasks.
  • Use hand tools for equipment and structural repairs.
  • Execute service calls for basic appliance repairs (e.g., changing parts on sinks, tubs, toilets, pipes, checking heaters, gas valves, replacing motor guards).
  • Respond to emergency calls and work overtime on weekdays and weekends.
  • Work on‑call and during scheduled shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm).
Qualifications
  • Less than a high‑school education and/or six (6) months to two (2) years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must hold a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
  • Ability to work overtime on weekdays, weekends, and on‑call as needed.
