DescriptionDiagnose and repair mechanical systems on semi-trucks and trailers, including:
- Brakes
- Steering & Suspension
- HVAC systems
- Drive trains
- Electrical systems
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspections
Conduct fleet inspections and perform scheduled maintenance.
Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues accurately.
Perform tire-related services as needed (mounting, balancing, repairing).
Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
Maintain detailed records of work performed.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Respond to roadside service calls using a company service truck (F-350), when required.
Assist with parts inventory and shop organization.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certification a plus).
- Prior experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet technician, or heavy truck mechanic preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
- Must be able to lift/move tires and equipment (30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids).
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Willingness to work in varying conditions (weather, noise, physical demands).
