Job Title

A full-time painter position (35h) is available as of 01/03/2024 following the retirement of a municipal employee. You will be under the hierarchical authority of the head of the buildings division. Your main duties on the position:

• Perform maintenance painting work following directives and technical documents.
• Participate in service activities.
• Maintain the facilities of various buildings, perform necessary repairs.
• Install furnishings.
• Participate in the design, manufacture, and installation of interior and exterior fittings.
• Intervene on defective locks.
• Assemble / disassemble outdoor wooden installations.
• Apply technical standards for the implementation of materials.
• Detect and report malfunctions and degradations observed on installations.
• Suggest preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
• Maintain the paint workshop.
• Respect safety instructions & wearing PPE.

Secondary activities and tasks of the position:

• Intervene according to the needs of the different services of the CTM.

Required requirements:

• Training, qualifications, permits:
  Driving license B Caces nacelle required but not mandatory Gestes & postures, PSC 1 or SST (not mandatory) Port & use of PPE
• Technical skills:
• Reading plans
• Knowledge of building standards
• Use of painting materials & solvents
• Know the risks of solvents and paint
• Skills:
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Be able to be autonomous on the position
