Maintenance Engineer Painter
Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Engineer Painter is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance, safety, and functionality of facilities across the Osage Casinos enterprise through high-quality surface finishing and general maintenance work. The role performs the application, repair, and restoration of a wide range of interior and exterior finishes—including paint, stain, wall coverings, drywall, and specialty coatings—using industry-standard tools and techniques.
The position also evaluates building conditions, identifies maintenance or repair needs, and supports project planning by developing accurate material take-offs from blueprints or field assessments. In addition, the role provides support in broader facility operations, including basic construction, plumbing, electrical, structural, and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure overall property upkeep.

Minimum Qualifications:- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Two (2) years' experience in position related to assigned duties required.
- Six (6) months of previous work experience in Gaming, Hospitality or Customer Service industry preferred.
- Technical school or formal apprenticeship preferred.
- Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Must be available for after-hours emergencies.
- Required to maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
- Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.

Communication:
- Make efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter.
- Effectively communicates concerns and information to supervisor and listens to communication from supervisor.
- Effectively relates ideas for improvements to supervisor and management in accordance with chain of command.
- Observes and reports all unsafe behavior displayed by internal and external guests.
Department Operations:
- Read, interpret, and understand blueprints, drawings, and project instructions to assess scope and materials required.
- Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, protecting fixtures, and masking surfaces.
- Prepare new and existing surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and quality finishes.
- Mix paints and materials to achieve specified colors, textures, and finishes.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as project requires.
- Apply varnishes, sealants, and other protective or decorative finishes.
- Install, remove, replace, and patch all types of wallpaper using appropriate tools, techniques, and adhesives.
- Repair and patch wallpaper while matching existing patterns for a seamless appearance.
- Install and finish drywall to specification.
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.
- Develop job material needs in a format that understood by management.
- Develop materials costs associated with job.
- Apply varnishes to wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, concrete, and metals.
- Uses various hand and power tools to complete assigned projects.
- Ability to operate and maintain the various types of spray equipment used in applying commercial finishes.
- Erects and dismantles scaffolding, operate man lifts.
- Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
