Grapple Crane Operator / Yard Loader
Immediate openings. We are a local metal scrap yard seeking action‑oriented, reliable and hardworking individuals with 2+ years of yard dog experience to handle materials using a mag crane, grapple crane, wheel loader, and skid‑steer loader. Workers must be willing to work overtime.
Duties / Responsibilities- Operate cranes and forklifts safely.
- Unload customers and feed the shredder using a grapple crane.
- Load trucks with shredded steel using a mag crane.
- Unload trucks and load railcars with a mag crane.
- Operate a wheel loader and a skid‑steer loader.
- Follow safety and operations processes and procedures.
- 2+ years’ experience operating cranes in an industrial environment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a non‑climate controlled work environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation and a steady work history.
- Steel‑toed boots required.
