Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Mechanical HVAC Installation/Service Journeyman to join our team in Tulsa, OK. This is an on-site position responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing system diagnostics, conducting inspections to ensure safety and code compliance, collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service on every job.
The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to delivering reliable comfort solutions while upholding KMS' high standards of professionalism and customer care.
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- OSHA-10 Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial and/or residential HVAC installation and service experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration, and troubleshooting
- Ability to install, diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC equipment
- Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor apprentices or helpers
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor environments
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professional integrity
- OSHA-30 Certification
- Commercial HVAC experience
- Refrigeration Recovery Certification
- Experience leading installation crews or service teams
- Additional manufacturer certifications or continuing education in the HVAC field
