Heavy Equipment Mechanic

? Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
? Occasional Saturdays as Needed
Hire Call is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a well-established construction equipment operation in Tulsa, OK.
If you have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment and enjoy working in a hands-on outdoor environment, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment including:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Loaders
- Other heavy equipment
- Perform repairs on:
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical components
- Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Identify and resolve equipment performance issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Work Environment
- Comparable to working on a highway or construction job site
- No shop environment – all work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working in heat, cold, wind, and other outdoor elements
Qualifications
- Previous heavy equipment mechanic experience required
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and diesel-powered construction equipment
- Ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment efficiently
- Must have own basic mechanic tools
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and work in physically demanding conditions
- Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness
Additional Information
- Associates will be required to complete a safety orientation video prior to reporting to the worksite (approximately 3.5 hours).
- Hire Call will provide one orange hard hat; replacement hard hats will be provided by the client thereafter.
