Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment ​/ Industrial Fleet

Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment / Industrial Fleet Pay: $24–$36 per hour depending on experience

This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment used in industrial and construction environments.

Applicants with only automotive mechanic experience will not be considered.

Requirements Experience repairing diesel engines on trucks, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery

Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues on diesel powered equipment

Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs

Ability to use diagnostic tools and mechanical repair equipment

Reliable transportation to work

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems

Perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment or diesel trucks

Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues

Replace worn or damaged components on diesel powered equipment

Maintain safe repair procedures when servicing heavy equipment

Work Environment This position operates in a heavy equipment or industrial maintenance environment involving diesel powered machinery, mechanical tools, and repair equipment.

Preferred Experience Experience repairing construction equipment or diesel trucks

Experience working with hydraulic systems

Experience performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
