About the Opportunity
A well-established Building Automation & HVAC Controls organization is seeking a skilled
BAS Controls Technician to support commercial, industrial, and institutional facilitiesthroughout the greater Tulsa area. This role focuses on hands-on DDC installation, service,troubleshooting, and commissioning for a wide range of HVAC and energy management systems.
The Tulsa metro continues to grow across manufacturing, healthcare, and education sectors—creatingsteady demand for experienced controls professionals who can support complex BAS environments.
- Location: Tulsa, OK (regional customer sites)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Hourly Rate: $34.00 – $48.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

- Install, configure, and service BAS/DDC controllers
, sensors, and associated HVAC control devices - Perform start-up, functional testing, point-to-point verification, and system commissioning
- Diagnose and resolve controls-related issues, including programming errors, device faults, and communication failures
- Modify and update system graphics, databases, schedules, and alarms
- Install and terminate low-voltage control wiring, conduit, and field devices
- Collaborate with mechanical contractors, facility managers, and engineering teams during project execution
- Document system adjustments, testing results, and service activities
- 2–5+ years of experience with BAS, DDC, or commercial HVAC controls
- Hands‑on background with platforms such as Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Distech
- Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals, control sequences, and system integration
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, or Lon Works communication protocols
- Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, submittals, and sequences of operation
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer interaction abilities
