Facilities Technician

Role Overview:

The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment and general facility systems to ensure optimal performance and meet operational goals.

• Maintain and repair electric order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, conveyor systems, and other warehouse equipment.
• Perform scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and electrical devices.
• Assemble and install equipment, cabinetry, and furniture, and repair building components such as roofs, floors, plumbing, and drywall.
• Manage parts inventory and utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to resolve issues.
• Ensure a safe working environment following OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company rules and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and related software applications.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Forklift operation experience or certification preferred.

Frequent walking, bending, reaching, standing, and squatting; working at heights; lifting up to 48 lbs; and possible extended hours during peak seasons. The role is safety-sensitive and requires passing a drug test.
